Come get your folk dance on!

Have you ever danced Latvian Ceilidh? Do you know any Latvians or want to know more about our country? Then this event is for you!

 

For the 2nd year in a row Latvian folk dance group “Dindaru Dandaru” and Edinburgh University Latvian Society LaTS invite you to come and join us for a night full of fun, fellowship, dancing, and culture to help us raise money for our new costumes! You will get an opportunity to enjoy the Latvian equivalent of Scottish Ceilidh dances, which are just as easy and fun to learn. In addition, our dance group will showcase Latvian folk dancing and give attendees an insight into Latvian culture and history through interactive storytelling.

The event will be held in English and no previous dance experience is required – our knowledgeable hosts have got you covered! There will be a £18 ticket* cost which will go towards event costs and our new costumes. Any other donations will also be much appreciated.
