Event Details

Relax in absolute Hot tub bliss and soak your aching body in one of our beautiful traditional wood fired western red cedar hot tubs at the Timber 2019. We are bringing our spa area to you as special treat allow yourselves a touch of luxury and contentment!. During your 2 hour session in our Wonderlandia area you get a 50 min soak in the beautifully warm water heated to 37-39 degrees. You can choose to turn up early and relax before your soak or after it's up to you. We pride oursleves on our water hyhiene quality and the water is changed and tubs scrubbed clean daily bathes smust shower before use.  Important - you get 2 hours in the spa area and 50 minutes in the tub at your booked time to allow for change over. - The tubs and sauna are booked separately i.e if you have paid for a tub session and want to also use the sauna then you will need to book your sauna session either before or after you hot tub session if you book both sauna and tub at the same time you will only get 50 mins total time to divide between tub and sauna ! Booking just the sauna also gives you 50 minutes to come and go and then you still get to spend two hours in the wonderlandia area.  Important! Please be aware that tub and sauna sessions are mixed and shared with others. If you want an exclusive tub for yourself or a small group then you will need to buy all six spaces please. Pre-Event Information: 

For the benefit of all users it is vital that the following health & safety advise and terms & conditions are followed and respected at all times.
By using the tubs you agree to all the following:
Please take a short, shower before entering the hot tubs ( you can use the camp site showers if ou are camping or if not our cold was down arae) take care to wash off any deodorant, body paint, heavy make-up and body lotions and especially glitter. No soaps or oils or anything else are allowed in the hot tubs! In addition only bathing costumes to be worn (unless it’s a clothing optional event) and no underwear or clothing as this leaves fibres in the water and may mean we have to refill! also please don’t submerge your head or swallow the water.

Please arrive around 15 minutes earlier than your booked session you may have a total of up to 1 hours chill time in our chill area before of after you hot tub session.
When walking around the area please wear outdoor slip on shoes (flip-flops are fine). This allows you to keep your feet clean as possible also please use the foot baths provided before getting in! Please do not Run, jump,or climbing around our site area.

Children under the age of 6 yrs or under 1m at chin height are not allowed in the hot tubs and any under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We insist that the site provide us with potable drinking quality for our hot tubs which is tested and treated with chlorine or similar accordingly throughout the day. The water in each hot tub is changed each day and throughout the day. Please refrain from using our tubs if you have cut skin, ear, genital or any other infectious disease likely to be transmitted in the water.

Please use the plastic glasses only not glass also no food or smoking allowed in the hot tubs. We provide cold fresh drinking water for you please stay hydrated!
You are advised to have a break from the tun after approximately 15 - 20 minutes if you wish to stay longer it is at your own risk. We maintain the water temperature between 37 and 39 degrees c please check that it feels right for you before getting in.

Do not touch the wood burner unit at all it gets hot, do not open the lid or interfere with any part or add wood to the fire. If you need anything please ask staff they will be about to monitor the temperature regularly.
One glass of champagne or wine can enhance the hot tub experience – any more than this is not advised. The heat will speed up the effect of alcohol & can cause dizziness. People who are or appear to be under the influence of drugs or too much alcohol are not to use the tubs and may be asked to leave. In addition abusive or outlandish behavior towards the staff or other tub users will not be tolerated & you will be asked to leave and the session fee will not be refunded. We do not accept responsibility for injury caused by misuse of the facilities and cannot accept responsibility for valuables or lost clothing.

If you suffer from any of the following you should not use the hot tubs taking meds Heart Disease Diabetes Migraines Stomach upset or sickness within the last 14 days Heart or respiratory problems Any illness that can cause the inability to perspire Any other serious illness, taking medications or if you are pregnant you must not use the hot tubs unless youcan provide us with a doctors letter of permission. If you feel fient dizzy or unwell at any stage please alert staff.
Please do not take photos without first getting permission from everyone in the tub.
If we have to close a tub for any reason or are delayed in opening for any reason we will try our best to offer an alternative time slot of a refund to the value of the session only.
