Event Details

"Waking the Wolf - Tales of Wild and Wise Women" is a rich tapestry of stories woven together showing the bravery, the vulnerability, the intelligence, the humour and the compassion of women who, like you, embody the archetypes of both the wild and the wise woman.

Once upon a time there was a Wild Woman, she carried everything a woman needs to be and know. She carried the medicine and healing for all things. She carried stories and dreams and words and songs. She could track and run. She could sense and love deeply. She was all that was instinct and intuition. She was deep listener and a loyal heart. She was ideas, feelings, urges and memory. She was the source of the feminine. She still is…..she is you. She lives within and without. In our soul and in the earth, the trees, the rivers, the seas.

“Waking the Wolf” is an inspirational evening of storytelling with the incredible Suzanne Arnold, which launches the pilot, of our new project “Soul Stories”.

Watching Suzanne perform ‘Waking The Wolf’ is just the beginning of the journey. If you enjoy the concepts of connection and transformation through story, we are offering an opportunity for 16 people to take part in a weekend workshop (later in the year) which will explore ways in which we can create a story of our own life. We are all natural storytellers. Everyday we tell stories to our friends and family and listen to their stories. Unfortunately, we can tell ourselves stories that keep us stuck, believing we are less than we are, that we do not have the power to change ourselves or our situation.

The “Soul Stories” project will introduce the power of story as a tool to help reclaim and take ownership of our own story. You are the heroine in your story. You make the decisions and direct the action.

The workshops will connect women within a supportive and safe environment offering an opportunity to express and explore our own stories and providing tools that may help to transcend challenges and overcome obstacles. Stories can bring people together, to rest, to listen and to reflect, helping us to relax and absorb different ways of thinking and being. Stories are perfect tools for manifesting changes, they provide the potential to help us face our fears more confidently and to own our journey. There is a power in stories that reminds us of who we are, what we want from life and how to get it. Reclaim your past, live the present and re-imagine your future.

There is of course no obligation to commit to the follow up weekend workshop if you are just interested in coming along to the storytelling evening.
