Nature connection at The National Botanic Garden of Wales SEPTEMBER
Take some time out to connect with the beautiful natural surroundings of The National Botanic Garden of Wales. This 2-hour session will cover the concept of nature connection, mindfulness and nature therapy. It will be relaxed, fun and uplifting.
Held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, each session will be standalone in content so you will experience different activities every time, if you wish to attend more than 1!
Expect to slow down, engage your senses to see, smell and feel the natural world and use a variety of mindfulness approaches to connect with both yourself and our environment.
The session includes walking, meditation, creativity, individual and group activities. Becky will provide scientific evidence of the benefits of nature connection and offer techniques and activities you can do at home.
Meet on the raised stage area by the café in the Glasshouse from 10.30am, main session starts prompt at 11am.
If you wish to join us and have any specific accessibility needs please get in touch with Becky to discuss this; most areas of the Garden are accessible to some degree and every effort will be made to ensure you can attend.
£10 for Garden members (membership number required at booking and you will be asked to show your card on arrival to The Gardens.)
£20 non members
The events will go ahead in all but the worst weather, please dress according to the forecast as we will stay outdoors as much as possible! We do have the option of spending the session in the Glasshouse though, so please do not let the weather put you off!
Plenty of options for warming refreshments afterwards in the café and restaurant!
