HWRBI: Annual Conference 2019

The growing interdisciplinary interest on the landscape and environments of women religious has encouraged a flourishing of new scholarship. Scholars working on ideas of landscape, concepts of space and place as well as the developing field of environmental humanities have added to our theoretical framework for understanding people’s relationships with the environment in the past. This conference hopes to encourage wider dialogue about the landscapes and the environments of women religious.
