Formed in 2016 by Artistic Director Victoria Ely, Evoke has rapidly developed a reputation as one of the best choirs for young people in London, both musically and socially. The name Evoke captures the essence of the choir, the passion for music and the raw emotion it can inspire, often leaving us short of words but so full of feeling.

Our mission is to bring a fresh perspective to choral music: breaking down traditional stereotypes; exploring new performance repertoire, environments and formats; and keeping choral music relevant in a rapidly changing society. Our repertoire is widely varied, with works that range from early classical to modern pop. In our short lifetime, we have been received enthusiastically in concert in London, Worcester, Denmark and Italy where we won awards at the renowned Polifonico Guido d’Arezzo International Choral Competition (August 2017).
